  1. Why don't they sell these without the unslighly stained and discolored run out tops? How did you get a good one? I would by one but ONLY if the woods are decent.

  2. Lets not mislead. Definitely not the sound of a Gibson. Don’t believe me compare them yourself. The Gibson acoustics in all these models are far superior build quality and sound. However, if you’re budget is around this price point totally worth it with the all solid wood and overall look. Just don’t say it’s the Gibson sound because that’s not the selling point. They sound good but not the same!

  3. According to the specs, these "inspired by Gibson" copies even have the comfortable 12" fretboard radius that the expensive standard series Gibsons have, instead of the unfortunate 16" flatter radius that the "G" series cheaper Gibson labeled acoustic now have.

  4. This guy makes me not wanna buy one.
I would walk out of the guitar center if he came up to me.
Maybe call the cops if i saw him outside a school honestly..

Just not a person who i would trust.

  5. So, you said "THEY built this is a 6 string and 12 string recreation for Epiphone", but you didn't say WHO built it. Did Gibson produce these for Epiphone?

  6. How would you compare this Hummingbird Inspired by Gibson verses the previous Hummingbird Pro? I would like to see a comparison between the two Hummingbirds. Thanks.

  7. Can someone please explain the differences between the Epiphone IBG models and the plain Epiphone models (i.e. J-200 IBG vs EJ-200SCE)? It appears that materials and specs are very similar but at a fairly large difference in price.

  8. These guitars look great, and have stage cred, but they have very little voice and projection. The solid wood construction means that they may sound much better with age, but there are much better price options out there for those who are not worried about appearances.

  9. A big step up for epi. He says "esp. this" about j200. The j200 sounded like I want them: cind of soft and bright with a even decay.
There hasn't been any alternatives for people that wanted a j200. Only the cutout version (that many likes).
We don't know how they are built but that 3 piece neck is a step up from the scarf-joints.
Also looked at anderton video and they only used the pickup with j200. I rather put in a K&K myself.
SIgma/Ami has been the only alternativ…who will buy a 799 sigma with laminated back and sides now?

  10. Why would you play a palm mute song when demoing an acoustic guitar? Especially a dreadnought, you gotta get that thing boomin'! I have no idea what the hummingbird sounds like
