However I have huge problems with folders in Gmail not replicating through IMAP as they should, when I move, rename, create, and delete them. Do you know whether GMAIL supports folders' management from Outlook, and in which conditions?? My email account is fairly big, so it can be due to its size, but I am not sure. If I want delete the account Microsoft, also my gmail account will be deleted?
I just tried this after watching a different video and gaining access to Gmail through Outlook by granting Microsoft apps permission.
I removed the permission and removed the Gmail from the Outlook accounts and went through your process of generating the specific app password.
Now when I try to log onto the Gmail from Outlook it is giving me several errors and not the ability to enter the app password. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Question: are there any benefits in using gmail through Outlook? Simply put: why would somebody do this? Any relevant answers will be highly appreciated. It is a genuine question. Thank you.
