  1. Such a pity that Samsung did not introduce the three upgrades policy back in 2015 with the S6/S6 edge, as they were the real turning point in Samsung's Phone History. Android 7 was very modern and clean back then but it just doesnt feel modern now in 2021 with One UI being released. The S6 line-up could definitly run Android 8.0 Oreo or Android 9 Pie..

If Samsung could just stop releasing ~50 devices a year, Phones could be supported for a longer time and finally, security and OS Upgrades would also be rolled out faster.

It would be easily enough if would just release two flagship models (Normal and Plus Model), two mid-range phones (like A41 and A71), one low-end device (eg. A10 or A02), one pair of new EarBuds and a new Smartwatch every year. A new tablet could be released every two years, so that they can implement more new features instead of releasing nearly two tablets a year, which rarely differ from eacg other (Tab S6/Lite/Tab S7). Instead, just release a Tab S6 in 2019, a Tab S6 Lite (which is btw just cheaper because they were features removed) and in 2021 a Tab S7. Problem solved. By doing so, they can easily support each of these devices up to 5 years, like Apple does.

    STATS (02/2021):

Count of all Apple Flagship iPhones : 29
Count of all Samsung Flagship Phones (S-Series only): 51 (including Neo, Plus, e, Duos, Active, Edge, Lite, FE, Ultra devices which were also sold seperatly since the Galaxy S1)

You see, it's hard to give consumers a fairly software support, if they release nearly 2x more Flagships than Apple and I am not even including the A/J/M-Series into that count
